For the rare few North Orlandoans that were meeting with me at "It's A Grind" in Altamonte last year ... it's been bought out by Volcano. They've rearranged the space so that there are now live acoustic acts, so it's not exactly conducive to writing anymore. I need to scout around for more locations, as we seem to have a dearth of coffee shops up here in the north. Maybe the Books-A-Million on SR-46 and I-4?

Well, my friend Alayna and I are meeting at the Border's in Oviedo on Red Bug at 10:00 am. on Saturdays and maybe on Sundays.
Insolent, you can get the 47 bus at UCF and it will take you right to the bus stop in front of Border's. It's across the street from Oviedo Marketplace, in the same plaza with Lowe's and Jared's Jewelers.
If you'd like to join us, you'd be most welcome.

I live right outside Orlando in Waterford. It's right next to the UCF area. Most of the meetings are out of my way and I'd prefer to minimize driving time, so if anyone lives in this area and would like to meet up PM me or respond, hopefully I'll be able to organize some meetings. The two possible places i'm looking at is Starbucks in the Waterford Lakes Town Center, or the Starbucks on Alafaya right next to the Quadrangle. At the moment I'm looking at weekend meetings anytime after 1:30pm. Any suggestions are openly welcome.

By the way, I was at Natura tonight...I don't know if it's always like this, but the place was completely empty, so if anyone wants to try to get together there on a Wednesday, it'd probably work. I won't be around next week, though.

If you think Java Dave's is a good place I'm all for it, I've never actually been there. And Naturas is usually busier during the weekend, but I'm not sure how conducive hooka smoke is to writing. I'd say wednesday night at Naturas would be nice if we has less than 10 people. I know the Starbucks at the town center would be good for about 15. If Java Dave's is gonna host any writing than let me know because I'll be sure to attend as well. I'm going to be at the meeting this Teusday as well so if any of you are going there we can discuss things further. And if you need a ride PM me. I've got a Tiburon which'll only hold a passanger and two hobbits, but let me know.
