Jael said he'd be writing at the Capigiro's at 20th and Sansom. Anyone else want to meet there and make a party of it?

Oops -- just to avoid confusion, I am a she. But I will definitely be there and hope many of you will be too! Thursday, November 1, 5:30-7 at least.

Woops! XD;; Sorry about that!

A few people, including myself, should be there. And I'll try to bring some (unofficial) swag for the people who show up. *waggles eyebrows*

Do you think you'll be up for writing/hanging out after class? I'd be willing to chill there or somewhere else late into the night.

I'll definitely be around well-past 7. I plan on getting as much writing done as I possibly can. XD

Hi! I'm new to all of this. I'd like to come by to meet with people who are doing this (I can't believe I'm doing this). I would be interested in writing buddies, too. Uh. I'm vaguely overwhelmed by the amount of STUFF there is. So many forums! If there was someone to help guide me, I'd be happy. Anyway, all this is to say: See you at Capagiro's.

The stuff does get a little crazy. I generally only frequent the Regional forum, and that's just to plan write-ins. All the other forums I hide. XD Do you know how to hide forums you have no interest in frequenting?

And welcome to the party! =D If you've got any questions or concerns, please poke me about them. I'll be more than happy to help.

I'll see how I'm feeling after my classes (which end at 5:30), and I plan on starting at midnight tonight, so I may not be awake enough. And I've never been to one of these things before.

I don't live in the city so I won't be making the write-in, but have fun :-)

Nicole -- have you checked out some of the other Pennsylvania regions? I think last year's Philadelphia ML is now ML for the area outside of Philadelphia. Maybe there's an event closer to you that you can go to. =3

And Kateness, I highly encourage you to come, even if it's just for the "say hi to people" portion and not the "let's get writing!" part. I did NaNo for years before going out and meeting other participants, and as much fun as I had doing it alone, I had a LOT more fun doing it with a group.

But I also know how tiring classes can be. Whatever works for you. =3

Although I live on the Main Line, I work in Philly so I'd love to join the Philly group on Thursday if that's OK...

The more the merrier! We'll set up in a corner and see how far the group stretches... sounds like there'll be a lot of coming and going, which is totally OK. I'll be the tall blondish one with glasses, a ponytail, and a laptop. And a NaNoWriMo shirt from last year, assuming I can find it tonight.

Esotaria: I'm hoping to get out of class early and I'll definitely stop by afterwards. If you get internet there I can stay in contact with you via AIM because I spend that entire class online, though my sn has changed since the last time we spoke.

There's one for Norristown but there hasn't been any activity in that forum :-( But I'm posting in the delco/chester county thread cause a couple spots that they are suggesting are closer to me.

I have to work until 10 tomorrow night so I won't be able to make it. Hope to see you all soon, though! Good luck!

Happy NaNoWriMo!

I'll be stopping by tonight to say hi and cover the kick off for uwishunu. Look for the brunette with 2 blonde kids - that's me!
Looking forward to meeting you all-

Don't worry -- swag won't be arriving until later in the month. Tonight we're just slaving away at our keyboards. In solidarity, of course. =D

Esotaria: I left a message with someone else to let you know this since the page was refusing to load, but I won't be able to make it tonight. I got a migraine earlier and I'm just going to come straight home after class and sleep.

I hope yall have fun! I'll see you at a different write in later this month.

Carrie, I'm so glad you are bringing your kids! That makes me feel a little less shy to stop by with mine. We won't stay long, just long enough to say hi to everyone! Also, we won't get there until about 6 or 615.

Does anyone have suggestions on where to park?

-Christine
