Well for my LOTR fan fiction, i love to write angst mostly, though i had 2 series with fluff as major, but i guess it depends.

Do you mean Fluff as in RPG-based stories, like The Dragonlance Chronicles? Or just generally light, action filled fantasy/SF?
I have heard it used both ways.

I mean fluff as cute and soft stories between father and son, all the sweet moments.
Like vignets. I suppose.
But i change my bunny, i do, angst, crossover fic, and bit of humor, hopefully humor... which i'm no good in writing humor.
