I know that last year we had several NaNo writers that lived on the coast - anyone interested in getting together one night/afternoon a week? Or even if you don't live Coastside but just want to get away from it all here. I'm easy. The new Peet's in HMB has a nice long booth-like seat and a bunch of tables. Half Moon Bay Coffee Co. has more food but less space. We might also consider the Half Moon Bay Inn (free wifi, I do believe, but we'd probably have to sit outside by the fireplaces). Or if more people are a bit north, Cafe Lucca can be a good choice. What do people think? Any takers?

I'd love to get together for write-ins. I can come to HMB, or host something here in Pacifica. Let's definitely get something going!

Cafe Lucca is just up the road from me. I travel a lot but would love a write-in if I can make it.

I'd love to do the new Peets in HMB -- how late is it open? I can do all mornings next week (except for friday) and evenings after 7 (except for thursday). Hope we can pull this off.

I can do evenings after 7, too. Mondays and Wednesdays are best. I'm fine going down to HMB, and either Peets or Cafe Lucca would be fine.
Heck...there aren't many of us. Maybe we could switch it up!
So, when's our first one? :)
And I just checked Peet's in HMB - they close at 7 on weekdays, and 8pm on other days.
Would anyone be willing to do a Saturday afternoon?

Too bad about Peet's being a bust for weeknights. Thanks for checking.
I can do the 11th 2-5. HMB Coffee Company stays open later -- till 9 I think. Linda mentioned Kitchen and Cocktails too. I wish I could be more flexible about doing a weeknight in Pacifica, but I have 3 kids with impossible activity schedules that I need to juggle and can't make it out earlier or for very long.

The 11th works really well for me too. Since we're going for an afternoon write-in, I'm thinking we might have better luck getting seating at Peet's because it's newer. HMB Coffee Company gets really crowded on weekends because they serve really good food too. But I'm flexible.

Let's plan on Peet's in HMB from 2-5 on Saturday, November 11th!
I can try and arrive a bit early and grab space....maybe put up a small paper sign...
On another note, I will be at Cafe Lucca today after 1pm if anyone else wants to show up for an impromptu write-in. :)

Just wondering (not sure we'll be able to make it down from Daly City either way that weekend) but the 11th is Sunday and Saturday is the 10th. Will you guys be meeting on Saturday or Sunday?

I'm planning to stop by at the HMB Peet's write-in today, but a bit later as swanquill and I were going to meet at the Panera in Millbrae this afternoon (others welcome!). Hope to see you all there.
