Hello, fellow lunatic writers...
I'm new to Nano and I'm nervous/excited/drunk about it! I live near Liberties Walk, on 2nd St. between Spring Garden and Poplar (ish). There's a great coffee place called Higher Grounds on 3rd, and I know the owner somewhat, so it's a place I'm very willing to purchase 1000 dollars worth of espressos from over the next month. In fact, if I can get enough writers together, maybe I'll ask him to host an all-night writing event. Wouldn't that be fun and caffeinated?
Anyway, I'm looking for all the support I can get as a new nanoer. Somehow in my head, 1667 words doesn't seem like a lot. I'll give you a moment to laugh at me. So, I know that when, after two days of writing, I realize that this is really crazy, I'll need some one to be like, do it bitch! Plus, this website has so many features and forums and oh my goodness me where do I even start? An experienced nanoer would be greatly appreciated to guide me through these strange and wonderous times.
So, if anyone's looking for a buddy or is in my area, please hit me up. Maybe before midnight tonite. :)

That sounds like an awesome idea! I'd definitely be up for it...preferably if it was not on a Wednesday or Thursday night. *laugh* But I've pulled allnighters before 10 hours of class other times this quarter, so I'd be able to survive if need be. Its a bit of a haul from where I live, but if its an all night writing spree it isn't as if I'll have to walk back to my apartment at 2AM.
