I definitely am, but then I don't have a job at the moment so it doesn't matter if I'm up all night! Let's see if I can get my word count above 2K by morning!

Why don't you do some writing in your lunchbreak rather than wait til the weekend? It's better to do a little every day than try to catch up. I REALLY want you to win this year!

Hi Hayley & Paul

I'm starting at 12.01am as I'm traveling tomorrow but I'll manage whatever I can. I loved the e-mail from Chris Baty - thought it quite inspiring. Am looking forward to opening the proverbial door in my head. I just hope it doesn't get stuck! (The door not my head...tee hee)

Well good luck everyon! Oh and Manchester - Essex will make you eat your words, literally!

Hey guys if you're looking for an opener - Coryton oil refineries made big news today - thank God no-one has been reported as injured.

If you get stuck with story lines take time out to read the news and then adapt accordingly - NaNo fillers Just a suggestion for writers block.

I've got my laptop, white stilettos and handbag at the ready 3hrs 36mins to go.............

I will! I have my own little business that takes up a lot of my time, but I could not even imagine not starting at midnight.....

Unfortunately at 00:01 I was standed at Oxted station waiting to get a taxi as we missed the last train home (went to see Rufus Wainwright), so I started at midday today. I've done 350 words so far, going for a lunchbreak then I'll knuckle down. This is going to be harder than I thought...

I didn't start at midnight. I was awake though, frantically working out the kinks in my plot. I probably won't start any actual writing until tomorrow. Too much planning left to do! This is my first piece of writing since giving up smoking.... not sure how well that will go!
