Hey, I'm back for another year! It says I joined this year but I just changed my user name, and I am a total loser at computer stuff, so if there's a way to show that I have been doing this since 2004, well, I don't know it!

I write erotic fiction, and two of my nanowrimo books have been published so far! There's nothing like pressure to get over the "what would my parents/ kids think?" writer's block that keeps us from writing great erotic fiction!

Good to be back. I am going to enjoy tonight, "imagining" what I am going to write about tomorrow! Can't wait to enjoy the posts, too. It's what keeps me writing, sometimes. CD Conejo

I've lumped myself into "other genres" this year, as my unborn doesn't seem to fit into any one spot, though it might fit somewhat into all of them. But there will surely be explicit sex, as usual, though whether any of it will be erotic remains to be seen...

It's an erotic story site, and the stories there are probably the best quality to be found at a free story site.

There's also several forums, one called the Authors Hangout, that many of us frequent. Join us. :-)

Hi! This is my first time attempting Literotica, I'm rather excited (I know, really bad pun). My novel is shaping up to be quite strange - alternate history storyline told through two journals - a husband and wife - and a series of literary theory lectures. Obviously, most of the erotic stuff will be in the journals, particularly the husband's.

Hi Everyone. I thought I posted something here last night but I guess I didn't.
This is the first year that I have participated in NaNo and decided it was the motivation that I needed to finish something I started early last year and haven't touched since. I pulled it out yesterday and had to reread everything. Made some changes and have tripled the word count on it in the last 24 hours.

I just posted my first piece to Lit and am curious to see how it is received.
I've been posting on goggle's blogger and have had a lot of very nice comments on my work but not a tremendous amount of hits.
I didn't realize all posts there had to be approved on Lit, which is a good thing, but that just made the last few days feel like I was waiting for Santa!
Finally got my approval, with a "absolutely awesome!" from my Reviewer and one review on my submission so far!
very exciting! not sure how many peruse the site but I'm hopeful!

Greetings from the Windy City! This is my, what, fourth NaNo, and this is the first time I'm attempting erotica in novel form (it's also representative of the Urban Fantasy genre) . I'm Claire, my AIM sn is phxtearshealme, and I'm writing Literomantica, if that makes any sense. I don't know. It's not technically Romance, I suppose, because it doesn't fit in with most dime novels, but it's not a predominantly erotic novel, either-- there's just a scene (so far, anyway) which involves her collapsing into his arms out of desperation and they end up doing things, though I don't think they'll go all the way, at least first time around.

ANYWAY, the point is I'm a first-timer at all of this, but particularly at erotic fiction. I've never actually tried to broach the subject, because I always thought I was more dignified than that. Turns out, I was wrong. So if anyone wants to read my smut and give me tips, I would be so delighted and I would definitely be your best friend forever.

I'm torn about the reading other peoples' excerpts and offering mine up as well. The fear of rejection is almost more paralyzing than the conversation where I asked my parents if they'd be able to show their faces in public after I write this.

How does everyone else handle the whole 'sex is dirty but necessary' bit of the writing in this genre?

This is TooTall1965 here, but I *sadly* haven't posted a story on there because, well, I guess I'm afraid at the time my stories would sound silly or not up to par with everyone else. That and I was trying to get some critique of my stories or help with my writing from some of the editors there, but never worked out. I got distracted and didn't add anything to it. Now, after this month, I am going to take another look and see if I can post some stuff to let people judge for themselves.

For this months writing I'm writing a story about a guy who may have discovered a porn star in hiding. Take a look at the excerpt and see if you folks like it or not. Thanks.
