Just curious. I'm from Springville, myself... a village which is now known throughout New York for its Wal-Mart. I'm not kidding; apparently, there are people from Buffalo who come up just to visit the store. Why? No idea.

I live right up the street from it. Thus, I feel special.

So, anyone...?

I'm not from Erie County, but I am from Western New York...southern part of Western New York; Olean in Catt. County near the PA border...I'm curious to know if there is anyone else from Olean/Salamanca; I'd love to get together somehow!

I'm in Hamburg, couple exits up the 219...
Alot of people seem to be from the UB area (at least on the Buffalo regional board) so there's not alot of us "southtowners".

And for the record, I only use your Wal*Mart on the way to Alleghaney. I am much more intersted in your Tim Hortons.

I'm from North Collins myself. A nice little hick-town out in the middle of nowhere... although, that's hardly true at all, that's the stereotype I've been given. Still, I go to school in hamburg, so I know more people there than I do in North Collins.

Wellsville. Definitely not Buffalo, that's just the closest city I can name that anyone who's not from WNY recognizes. Really, when people from Olean and Hornell make fun of where you live (specifically the cow to human ratio), you know your town is way too small.

So, three cheers for Allegany County (yes, that's Allegany, not Allegheny).

Wow. Just, wow. Looks like I have a lot of south-towners here, huh?

Yay. My village is known for our Wal*Mart and Tim Hortons.

I feel torn between laughing and shaking my head.
