How much did you guys write?

I don't mean how much you wrote the day of Nov. 1st, but how much you wrote from midnight until whenever you went to bed.
I wrote 2014 words and i went to sleep at 2:00 because of it. It was fun though!

Just interested in seeing what other people did

Heyhey. :) I'm new to the board but I thought I'd jump on in with this topic. :) Sadly I only wrote a pittance of 686 words because not only am I for one terribly slow, but secondly I'm making up my novel as I go in true seat of my pants NaNoing fashion. Actually the idea came to me in all of two hours before the start. :D I hope to get crankin' on more of the story but sadly Art School comes first and it's nearing finals! D:

None! I had a rip-roaring Halloween party last night! I have a 6 year old and we live in a neighborhood where people REALLY do Halloween. It was a blast!

However, I walked to work this morning and brainstormed my novel for an hour. When I get home tonight I'll transcribe it!

I think that as long as I have a small child in my house I won't be jumpstarting NaNo. We're a Halloween family!

Ooh, my first post.

I also meant to write after midnight, but fell asleep. Oops. I'm sneaking it in today while I'm supposed to be working, though.

Well, midnight came and I was already in bed. So I pulled out my laptop to check e-mail. Then looked for inspiration. Until I typed the first word I had no idea what my story would be, or even which genre. So my kitty snuggled into me and whisper write about me give me an adventure outside of this house. Thus, the story born. 210 words later we had an intro and drifted off to dream land.

838 words from midnight until 12:30. I figured that was a good start.

Klepto,

I guess, once a story formulates in this "pea" brain of mine, it becomes easy to continue. It's the beginning -- the idea, first thought, first sentence -- that usually get sme stuck.

If you ever need some inspiration or feedback, I'm here.

How were you guys able to post your word counts. I clicked around on the site for over an hour last night and couldn't find a way. I think the site is running so slow becuase there are so many people doing this.

About 600 words, give or take some. I got my teacher involved in Nanowrimo, so we do most of our writing in class. If I can, though, I'll probably write quite a bit here at home.

I ate too much candy and didn't do any homework in anticipation...

But i wrote 1,000 words by 1 am, then screwed around talking to a friend, then cleaned a bit, and was asleep by 2:00. It was sooooo fun, and a little nerve wracking, because I've been in anticipation SO LONG!! :)

Here's to the Atlanta region! Keep up the word counts everyone!! :)

I wrote a brief outline and about 200 words and slept with a resolve to write EXACTLY 1667 words every day.

None! I have a five year old to take to school each morning, so I have to keep a strict in by midnight bedtime otherwise I tend to break the alarm clock. On top of that, I started November off with the flu! It was four days later that I finally started writing, but thankfully my story's on a roll now. What a way to start my first NANO.

I actually did better at the beginning than i am doing now. My first chapter was 2075 words. i wrote it in about two hours. That stupid editor had to be clubbed repeatedly to make him leave me alone...
