this is my second year. last year i flew through it, i finished with like a week or more to spare but so far this year i'm not doing too good.

just because you didn't make the 50,000 doesn't mean that you failed. just look at your word count, you're almost half way. you may not have made a novel but you made half a novel. you can always continue to work on it and finish it, then you'll have a full novel. there are a lot of people that sign up for nano and never finish, don't let it discourage you.
this is my second year, the first one i breezed through it with a week or more left over but his time it was down to the last day efore i finished and you know what? when it start editing it i'll end up with probably less than 25,000 words. the thing with nano is to get you to write whether good or bad just write the words as they come out then go back after it's over and clean it up.
if i'm back next year, i look forward to see you here also and when you come back next year, i want to see that yuo have this years novel finished and you'll also finish your second one in next year's nano.
