I can think of a few places in the west end of the region for gathering. If you can think of others, please post them here and we can figure dates on which to gather and write together!

Locations:

Pickering Public Library, Main Branch
Pickering Public Library, Petticoat Creek Branch
Ajax Chapters
Ajax Gnu Books

Ajax Chapters sounds fitting to me and was actually going to be my suggestion when I read the subject heading. I'll be honest and say I don't really know where the other places are. No offense, but I usually drive through Pickering to Toronto and only really stop to buy stuff at Costco. lol.

I would love to join y'all, but i'm stuck in YUL! I'll be in Montreal for the month of November. Can someone have a chai latte on my behalf and maybe take some notes? :)

Either of the Ajax spots sounds fine...I'd have to find the Pickering locales....

If I did show up, it'd likely be a social call rather than anything productive, since I don't own a laptop and I have trouble reading my own handwriting sometimes (why write it twice anyways...?).

Even so, let me know when/where/if this will happen and we'll see if I'm free enough of family obligation to attend. :)

We can have the auditorium at the Pickering Public Library on November 9th and some later dates.

Or November 23rd, the 29th, or the 30th
at the Pickering Public Library.

Hi Marty - What time of day were you thinking on Nov 9th?

For the 9th I'd like to suggest 5pm-9pm if I may.

I'd like to suggest Saturday write-ins at Chapters, just because everything else seems busy for me.

are those later dates at the Pickering library solid? I live nearby and it would definitely be fun to meet up with other Wrimos. :)

I could handle the later dates too I guess...

I can certainly handle other Fridays as well, with today as an exception -- my anime club meets tonight downtown.

We can have one or all of those dates at the PPL -- Pickering Public Library.
But Saturday at Chapters sounds good, too!
p.s. The PPL is hosting a three day novel writing marathon as a special event fundraiser for literacy during the March Break

LOL, I think the March break is a bit too late to be working on our NaNoWriMo entries.

I don't see any reason why we can't do both PPL and Chapters gatherings, really.

Our ML should officially schedule that stuff, eh? Name the time and place, I'll try to be there. I got a job interview tomorrow so I might not make it but next Saturday for sure, let's get a Chapters Write-In under our belts!
