I can't upload my word count right now, but my first day went well. Really well. So well, I could sit here and do nothing for the next 3 days. Yes, that's right, I've already wrote enough not just for the first day, but with 6785 words I've reached the day 4 word count.

I know, I'm shocked and disgusted myself. ;)

Even though I know it was my goal to build up a bit of a reserve on the first day, it went far too well. I started writing at midnight and by 1 am, including a phone call from my sweet boyfriend who works nights, I was already at 2000 words. So weird, because I did not really plan all that much.

This afternoon I was waiting for a phone call and decided to type a bit more. And then tonight I thought, oh, let's put some more words on the screen then shall we? And just now, I had a look at the word count. wow.

I really do hope that this does not mean that in a few days I will have no more words left in me, or that the story will become so long winded that I will not finish it within the 50K and then just not bother about it anymore. I've had that happen every single time I did Nanowrimo and I don't want it to happen now.

But anyway.. Let's hear about your first day. How did it go?

My first day was much the same as yours. I think I went to bed about 3am with about 3500 words under my belt. When I got up my mum had started writing and it was so nice and quiet in our house for once I carried on writing on and off the whole day and went to bed with 8116 words, which amazed myself. I haven't written anything today, since I've only just got out of bed, but I've got a feeling it's going to be another good one.

I only managed 1750 words, but I've got a feeling I'll do better today. Yesterday I had stuff to do-today my husband as gone away for the weekend, I've got last nights leftovers for dinner (so no having to stop to cook), and all the housework is done. I'm aiming to get up to at least 4000 words today, any more than that and I think I'll faint from shock! How's your mum doing, Hayley? Did you take over the computer all day so she couldn't write?

Hoping for 4000 today.

The first day was alright. I'm still trying to get the story in my head so it's a case of writing 1k, then taking my sweet time over the next sentence. Still I surpassed the daily count.

Things can only get better. ;)

3000 words day one just writing myself out regardless and keeping a strict lid on the Inner Editor and 3000 words today. I did a bit of work on Day 1 on the 0.1 am of November 1st. I am even plotless and trusting myself hopefully to my Muse/s which could go either way and an interesting and original picture is emerging. The site is so busy I have not being able to get on and so am limiting myself to logging on here and uploading word counts.
I intend to be ahead but have no idea how the Essex crew are getting on or whether there is anyone who knows me happenstance?
best wishes to all
