I was just wondering if there were anyone besides myself from the Traverse City area. If there is, we can get together sometime. I'd like to do that.

1. Write
2. Keep writing
3. Tighten it up
4. Put it on the market
5. Keep it on the market until sold.

I just joined today. I am in Benzie County. I have never done this before. I just have always wanted to write and thought this would be a good way to start doing something towards that goal.

I'm in TC, but it's hard for me to get to any meetups.

I live in Honor, by Benzie, and would also love to meet in TC. I started a thread about it actually.

I live south, into Lake County, but I would be willing to drive to Traverse City to catch some write-ins, TC is only about an hour away from me, and a beautiful drive it is!!! Is there someone in charge of making a meet-up date calendar? I've been eyeing up some of the neighboring sites, and Maskegan has a nice set up going. They meet Every Sunday afternoon, at Barnes & Noble, and Thursday mornings at the home of the moderator. If I was close enough I'd drive there, but it's impossible twice a week with the gas prices the way they are! But I do plan on making at least a couple of the Sunday afternoon meetings... Ihop right on 37 would be a good place for one, don't you think?
Happy writing!

I would volunteer to be in charge but I'm only 16 and I have school to worry about. I can help be in like co-charge (:p) or something. I also could not get to any meet-ups outside of Traverse City, unless its in Interlochen. I don't knkow where the Ihop is so I probably won't be able to get there...

Too bad there isn't anyone with nothing to do to organize this stuff. It's about over so maybe next year we can figure something out. I'm in the Traverse area, with a few of my friends who are also into nanowrimo. We're at the college, so it's not really easy for us to get around. Actually...I wonder if anyone besides me even has a car...
