Hi, all.

Since we seemed to fail to plan the next meeting at the last meeting, we better do it now.

I expect we'll be meeting at the same bat time, but what about the bat channel? Do we want to keep meeting at the Black Stilt? If not, we'll need suggestions of other places that would be more suitable.

Discuss!

(note: if you want to meet somewhere else, please have a place in mind and let us know. We've already tried to come up with other ideas, and as you can see, have failed. kthxbye)

I think the Black Stilt works well(ish). Granted, the first meeting was a little chaotic, but the second one went well.

I thought our evil plan of chair-stealing and general taking over worked fairly well. The numbers seemed a bit more manageable, and the Black Stilt is easy to get to. Heh...

I think the Black Stilt will work, now that we've slimmed down slightly in numbers. The first meeting was utter chaos, but the second went fairly well. I caught less dirty looks this time for the group being inadvertantly in the way, so as long as we don't get a sudden influx of cafe mongers we should be fine.

And since Darusha is our Fearless Leader (title pending approval by harf and other mascots), I herewith nominate her to call and find out if they are even open on the 11th :) And, if so, until how late?

Who seconds the motion?!

Aye aye! *flails arm* (I would imagine it'll be open... most coffee shops are, on minor holidays.)

Ooh, I third it.
Do Buttons the Unicorn (Unisaw? Unichainsaw? Unicorn with a Chainsaw?) and the burrowing cactus get to be mascots too now?

I concur.

Unichainsaw has a nice ring to it.

Well, maybe we can vote on a name for the species next meeting. As much as we ever vote on things.
I'm really tempted to do some more sketches of it, since there were no new sketch ideas that struck me from this week. Unless I draw people fishing for dead babies. Though I haven't figured out how to draw a dead baby yet, and I don't really want to search Google for 'dead baby.'

...okay, now I'm really curious.

The Unisaw sounds great. Hard-core tool addicts can hunt them down in the belief that their "horn" makes a chainsaw that never breaks, runs out of fuel, or needs to be sharpened.

Of course, it probably requires the blood of dead babies to function, but few things are perfect.

Oh my god, I love that! You are officially my hero of the evening (and I just finished watching the most awesome episode of Heroes ever!) I wish I could write that into my novel, but there's nothing remotely there, so the tale of the still-unnamed creature will just have to be passed down as legend, by word of mouth, and sketches.

I think I need a 'Dead Baby Girl' signature, don't I?

I called and they are open, with the usual Sunday hours. All should be well, and I'll add the meeting to the calendar.

Fearsome? I don't recall anyone saying anything about fearsome!

Wait. THAT fearsome. Of - of course. How could I forget.

Very fearsome, O leader.

Better fearsome than fearful, if you can't be fearless... right?

My brain, it hurts! Can't she be fearless and fearsome?
