It seems to depend on the time of the day. The forums seem to load a lot faster for me when most of North America is asleep. Less traffic, then :) In the peak hours, it still lags some.

More or less the same impression here. When bad, it takes eons to open, when good, it merely pops up.

Tho' yesterday it wouldn't open at all for some odd reason. But now it's running just fine.

At the top of the page there is a link called 'Edit Profile'. Click on it and go down towards the bottom of the page that opens up. There you will find a field where you can insert your word count. Make sure you update the page by clicking the button at the bottom that does this. Good luck.
