Okay, so there was a bit of confusion last week, mainly because we've got classes, and haven't yet developed the ability to clone ourselves. The new plan is to meet at Vertigo (in the SUB) at 12, and assume that people will be around from 12-2, since a lot of us don't finish class until 12:30.

There's no need to bring your novels (or parts of them) with you, but no harm either.

We've got no real way of identifying ourselves to newcomers, so look for the crazy. I'll be wearing a black and white scarf, and hopefully you'll recognize people from other meetups.

I sent an email to everyone that requested to be on the list. If you didn't get the email, or want to be added to the list, please comment here or nanomail me with your name and email.

I presume this is again happening on a Tuesday - any chance of it ever happening on any other day of the week? Like, say, a Monday or Thursday. Because I can't make Tuesdays...

Oh, and I didn't get an email, even it should be on the list.

Oy, you are on the list. I don't know how I managed that. It is on Tuesday, since it seemed to be the day that worked for most people.

If you come up with another time that works for you, you can see how it works for others? I'm willing to continue emailing and somewhat organizing these things, or at least reminding people.

Alternatively, if you live in res or close enough to the university to come in the evenings (or even have an evening class,) I think the idea of sitting around and bitching in a common room somewhere was also discussed.

I'm all for sitting in a common room - I do live in Res, so it wouldn't be that hard. It's just that I have class on Tues. from 11:30 to 2:30, which sort of covers all of the Tues. meetings.

I have been going to the Sunday meetings, though, so I suppose it's not crucial that I go to the UVic meetings, too.

Huh, why are the posts in a weird order? Anyways.
I live in residence. I'm in Ring Road. And- Have no clue who anyone is with their usernames. It's like two different sets of people.

I'm in Ring Road too and would definitely be up for a write-in one evening. What days work best for everyone? I think Tuesdays or Wednesdays might be good. We'd also have to figure out which common room we'd want to take over...

*snorts*
There was no meeting today, hence it not being on the calendar or me making a board for it. I guess it might have made sense to point out that there wasn't one, but I honestly didn't think of it.

Sorry!
