I had a string of extracurricular work activities that kept me from writing the past few days and put me WAY behind schedule. I'm not giving up though. Is there anyone else in Fort Wayne that's behind? Ahead? Right on track? Freaking out? Has anyone been to the open labs at the library?

Hey Clint! I'm still hanging in there in Fort Wayne. I've had the exact same experience as you. I got sidetracked for awhile but I'm not giving up. I'm not freaking out yet either but I am way behind just like you. I did go to the open lab at the library once and I seemed to get a lot more done there than I'm getting done at home so I'll probably go back soon. Hang in there buddy!

Dear Clint. I'm glad to see your still hanging in there but my question was directed to someone else...who you are not. Don't you think that maybe your time would be better spent working on your novel than writing messages to yourself on a message board? Maybe?

Clint- Excuse me! I was just trying to be supportive of a fellow writer! No need to get snippy. And yeah, I am procrastinating by writing messages to myself on a message board but I'm all blocked up. My main charachter's dad is in Poland at the age of seventeen and I don't know how to get him home to make babies - my protagonist being one of those babies . He's in Poland in 1978! WHY!!!

This sounds so much like a conversation that I've been having in my head....
I'm trying to move and have definitely fallen behind. I'd like to get to the library. I'd like for the characters from books I'm not writing to quit bothering me (but just for a little while) so that I could focus on the ones I am writing about. They are still mad that I'm not using them.

Good luck!

I'm hanging in there. Very far behind, but hanging in there.

I'm close...like an hour away...does that count? Roann isn't too far away. I buy books in Fort Wayne. And my jeans. And that's where we send people when they have heart attacks.
