And it's a rather ugly spot instead of a bar. But it's still exciting that I have finished the challenge!

I hit the 50k mark tonight. And now I think I need to start studying for my exams.

Congratulations!

I wondered what the hell that spot was when I first saw it, but then I saw the number of words you had down.

Well done!

Now whose tally am I going to chase?.. *pouts*

Congratulations, Red! And yes, I really agree about slowing down. Perhaps with this out of the way, I won't stay up until midnight anymore on days where I have a 7 o'clock start at work...

You know, your green stumps are inhumane and will most likely end up being the cause of many suicides... Well, maybe not, but that would be cool, right?

Anyway, congratulations now go away you weirdo's =P

You know, I was just thinking, and since it is late and I really really need sleep... This gives a whole new meaning to going green. I know, lame, but that was my first thought when I logged on just now.

I might go to sleep now :-)

I'm going green by the 19th! It's my goal!

Thanks for the congratulations!

A few write-ins over the weekend, and you'll be fine getting the word count up. All is good!

Apparently the secnod year is meant to be more difficult than the first - I'm just happy I had better circumstances this year that allowed me to properly write.

I think you can do it! It is so close you can almost smell the grape purple-ness. (At least, that's what I'm imagining it would be if we had scratch and sniff computers)

Well done!

While I know hitting green is hard for all of us, I know you had some nasty computer issues mid-month, so go you for a terrific comeback!

So, are you ready to cross swords....errr.. keyboards again next year?

*grins*

I do my writing on my laptop, which was fine. It was the itchy allergic reaction that threw off my novelling concentration. I'll post my daily wordcounts in the Wordcount thread tomorrow. It's an epic tale of mighty conquest, then defeat, following by an incredible journey through good times and bad to a glorious yet thought provoking finish. Think Ben Hur meets Ulysses. And that's just the list of numbers.

You know, that sounds almost like a wine buff's description of a good wine.....:)

But then, I can see how there would be similarities ...;)
