Yeah...that's right. My comp shut off suddenly this morning...and I haven't been able to get it to turn back on...yet anyway...and not only that...but my power cord also died...so I can't even charge the thing and see if that's it's problem :(
Hopefully I can figure out stuff with my lappy soon....

Holy crap! Warm, healing, techno energies to your lappy/compy.
You might want to check the AC adapter (plug-in) jack. I thought my computer and power outlet were faulty, but it was actually the hook-up jack that came loose and screwed the whole thing over.
I don't know of anybody specifically to see who knows best what they are doing, but maybe someone here does. In the meantime, I hope the writing spirit doesn't die. You can do it! :)

GOOD NEWS!!! I FINALLY got my computer to turn on. I think it might have gotten overheated. : /
----------And I'm going to be getting a new adapter in about a week or so, whenever they get it sent to me. And until then I'm basically going to share with one of my roommates.
So needless to say...I'm in a MUCH better mood now than I was 11 hours ago....

Well...so I finally got my comp to turn on last night and was able to charge it over night using one of my roommate's adapters...but then this morning it AGAIN shut off suddenly...Not good.
----------So I talked to "Apple Care" and the guy said that when my power cord got fried, it probably did something to my comp...or at least the battery.
So basically one of 2 things has happened...
1. There was some sort of power surge that fried my adapter and shorted my battery or
2. There was some sort of power surge that fried my adapter and shorted my battery AND my computer : /
Scary...so if nothing else, it looks like I'm probably going to have to get a new battery. I'm hoping that that's it...I really don't want to have to send my comp in for repairs. *sigh* This is very frustrating....I have EVERYTHING on my comp...grr...
