I am...I feel like I should have at least 10,000 words by this point, and I don't. I write for like an hour every day, I think if I wrote anymore than that I would either explode from a massive headache, or my ADHD would get in the way. I need to write for 2 hours a day, instead. Especially because I don't know how much I can do on the weekends, and I really don't have anything else to do. I'm such a horrible procrastinator.

So I need some motivation/inspiration to write for like 2 hours a day. And this will help anyone in a similar predicament as I am.

Instead of trying to marathon run your two hours, why not try breaking down the time? Say you have 30 minutes, or maybe even 15 minutes of writing, and when you finish, take a break. *Shrug* it worked for me.

Yes, I am like 5000 and something words behind, but i plan on catching up a lot over the holidays. But, I am homebound due to a cold right now so I feel like I can catch up.

I am totally sympathetic, it seems like I am warring a never ending up hill battle with writer's block but good luck anyway!

Another good quote that may help the inspiration is "Every word written is a victory against death." and I don't know about you but I plan on being immortal.

Basically, the desire to write--if it's real--is the only motivation you need. Sometimes, a person wants to "be a writer" which isn't really the same thing as being a "writer" if you follow me....
I'd be so much further ahead now if some family mess hadn't come up. I still hope to catch up by mid-point, though I don't know if I'll be able to keep up after that.

We can take inspiration from that wonderful Steve Martin quote: "I think I did pretty well, considering I started out with nothing but a bunch of blank paper."

At least our paper isn't blank anymore...

...that's a little harsh. XD But still oh-so-funny.

Our Louisiana Elsewhere Region lost a Word War to the Louisiana Baton Rouge Region (...pretty much everything has been said. except this: congrats Baton Rouge, for a war well fought. we shall see who wins the (metaphorical) trophy this Sunday. to my fellow elsewhere-ers: warm up your typing fingers, folks, and lets win this war.)
