Howdy, everybody!
I hope your month is off to a flying start, and that the sweet, sweet muses are whispering delectable nothings in your ears. If you haven't gotten off to a great start, however, I have these words of advice for you:
DON'T PANIC.
The month is young yet, and your imagination is a hearty breeding ground for amazing, fun, and mercifully long-winded passages about whatever your heart desires. If you find yourself stuck, drop the scene where it stands and start with something else. Noodle for a paragraph or two about a minor character's troubled relationship with his hamster, Percival. Have the power go out wherever your characters are. (Or have your Fantasy characters' fire go out mysteriously or something.) The weather is yours to command: use it to your god-like advantage.
Now, on to business.
This Wednesday, November 14th, at 6pm, there will be a write-in and games night for Saint John wrimos. Let's get together at Tim Horton's on King Street. THE VENUE MAY CHANGE, so please RSVP if you'd like to attend. I will send out another email closer to the date to remind everyone, and let y'all know of any changes.
I will probably be able to pick some people up if transportation is an issue, so don't be shy.
I hope to see lots of you there. Take care, and write on!
