The first meeting will be at Books A Million this Sunday, November 11th, from 2 to 4 p.m. Get together, have some caffine, and meet your fellow NaNoer's at Joe Muggs in the store. Bring your writing equipment if you'd like. I don't recall seeing any outlets so that may be a problem unless you have a good battery in your laptop. Hope to see you all there!

Frack. My car has decided to have epileptic fits instead of starting. Naturally, no shops are open until Monday. And also there are no busses running on Sundays either.
I don't suppose anyone would be interested in swinging by and picking me up? I'm at the intersection of Montgomery Cross and Waters, which is only five or so blocks from BAM. Otherwise I'm in for a really long walk. :(

Hello All!
We had our first meeting/write-in yesterday at BAM. Kayara attended and finished the chapter she was working on. I was surprised that I was actually productive since Joe Muggs was busy and not all too quiet!
We'll plan on the next meeting the same, at Books A Million next Sunday from 2 to 4. Look for the NaNoWriMo label tent on our table. If you don't have your BAM membership card, just tell the cashier at Joe Muggs you're with the writer's group and you'll get a small discount off your purchase (they'll have my card on file).
If there are any SCAD students out there who would like to head up meetings in the downtown area, drop me an email.
Thanks and keep on writing!

Unfortunately, SCAD is in the middle of finals now and the last day of classes is this Thursday, after which everyone is kicked out of dorms for break. We won't be back until January!
Maybe next year though! Good luck to the rest of you Savannah people!

Yeah, it's about that time. I know you all are looking forward to the break. But hey, that means you'll have more time to write!
If I am the ML next year the Savannah Forum will get going much earlier.

Hey, Mrs. Kristine's Mom!
This is Kristine's friend. Jess and I are going to come next Sunday. Unfortunately, my laptop is out of commission until I get it fixed. :/ I'll bring a composition book instead! Most likely, we'll get there around one and hang out for a while.
It'll be great to meet more Nanoers and talk about all our silly mistakes. See you Sunday!

Hello Dev!
Cool! Glad to see you checked out the Savannah Forum. If you two get there early feel free to grab a table and start writing. I'll be rushing that day so I'll probably be there right at 2.

Hello All!
We had a productive meeting at BAM early this evening and had another NaNoer join us for the event! I was able to knock out most of a chapter but haven't checked my new word count yet.
The next meeting is tenatively set for BAM/Joe Muggs for next sunday from 2-4. I won't be able to make it due to an event my other half already set up that was beyond my control. If those who meet are flexible and can suggest some other days/times that we can meet, I'm open for suggestions. Keep in mind the weekend is going to be crazy with rabid holiday shoppers so a day like Saturday morning probably wouldn't be too workable. Let me know what your thoughts are.

Hi All!
Just wanted to touch base with everyone about the meeting this weekend. Since most people told me their schedule is flexible, I'll put out some times and days and see what's convenient for everyone.
For me, Saturday most of the day is free (parking may not be that bad, depending, at BAM. I'll be at work all day and can use the break!). The other day would be Monday or tuesday after 6. Let me know your thoughts.
The Savannah area has reached 106,019 words collectively! Congrats!

Okay, the usual happens. I change all my plans because of an unexpected event, then the event does not happen. Sunday's free for me again, so to keep things uniform we'll stick with Sunday afternoon.

I went... I saw... I sat there for 40 minutes by myself before I got bored enough to get up and wander around the store instead. Then I left at 3pm. Possibly it would've worked better had I had a Nanowrimo sign, and/or mentioned that I would be the one with a Smoothie King smoothie, or somesuch - in case anyone else went by and glanced through and kept going.
On the bright side, I think I'm the only one who can claim perfect attendance on every single meet this year. :)
Guess I might meet some of you if a writer's group gets started, otherwise, hope to see some of you next October. ;)
