I just reached the 10,000 mark!

I can't believe it actually, because I started late, and didn't think I'd be able to get this much done in so little time, but I'm rather pleased with myself, and I'm going to go and celebrate by making myself a coffee.

I'm currently averaging out at about 1,000 an hour while I have no distractions, so if I keep going at this rate I should be finished by Wednesday. :) I'm not going to bed, and I'm going to try and break 15,000 by 9 am. I'll let you all know when I get there!

I thought there was another light on in Darlington.
It's 3:15am and I'm stuck.
Am going for a walk so if you see some strange bloke lurch past waving his arms, don't worry, it's only me trying to construct a convincing argument between two sisters.

Ah, I always get blokes lurching past my window waving their arms, it's a hazard of living where I do, especially this time on a Sunday morning because they're ususally very, very drunk.
My light is not in Darlington though. I wish it was, because Colburn doesn't exactly do much to unleash your creativity.
As for arguments between sisters, I've had a few of them in my time. As younger sister I usually lose. :P
I don't know where all this energy is coming from though. I just decided that I wanted to try and write as much as possible, and couldn't stop. I've only had one coffee, and it was decaf, so I know it's not that.
Anyway, I hope you get unstuck soon.
I must get back to my novel if I''m going to get those 15,000 words by the time the kids wake up. :)

I don't think there's any fear of that. I've realized after two all-nighters what is meant by the phrase 'there are only so many hours in the day'. I may be able to work better on a night, but it means I end up sleeping through the morning, and I'm not getting as much time with the kids as I'd like. NaNo is fun, but I don't think there's any point in killing myself over it.

That said, after getting reminded yesterday that we should have been at 18,337 by midnight, I was going like the clappers to get to that target. :)
