I wanted to open this up to the Everett people first before I went out looking for takers.

I have a writing podcast (pretty inactive mostly) and thought it might be cool to do something once the month was over to keep the memories of NNWM alive. I wouldn't get anything out of it other than the chance to talk to other Wrimos. This is not an attempt to sell advertising and profit off of anyone. Writing, after all, is not my "make money" job; it is my "sexy job" (for details, go see a great book, How to be Creative by Hugh MacLeod; see Point 7).

If you're interested, you would need to have a computer, a Skype account and a halfway okay microphone (I'm no podcasting expert but there are some techniques for making voice better on less than perfect microphones). I have software for recording Skype conversations and it makes the call free.

Let me know what you think.

If you want to listen to what I've done, go over to Tech Outsider.

Sure, I'm in :) Skype's easy, and I'm pretty sure I still have my mic in one of these boxes from moving.

I'd be down for that. I've got Skype AND a microphone, and hopefully a finished novel at the end of the month. What is the topic for discussion on the podcast?

Sounds like we have at least a couple of episodes.

I like to talk to authors: amateur and professional. I just happened to luck out with Dudley Clark (you can listen to the interview at http://www.techoutsider.com if you'd like; he has some great things to say about writing).

I'm just fascinated with the whole concept of NNWM and I think it would be cool to just chat about what it means to people, how the novels turned out, and what the future holds. I think I'm a reasonably good interviewer (as a tech writer, I talk to people a lot as I collect the info I need to finish the documents I write), and good at ad libbing. I used to be a professional puppeteer and none of my written stuff was ever as good or as funny as my off-the-cuff stuff.

I'll put some stuff together during December and expect an invitation to appear on Tech Outsider in January. I also have another writer lined up (Sharol Louise, Secret Sister) so we can weave the NNWM interviews with the other author interviews.

My Skype name is sjgarr49. We'll work something up. Claire had some great ideas and I'd love any feedback on how we could make the cast listenable.

Talk to you soon. Gotta finish up my 50K.
