Okay, well, I know how hard week two is. It's one of the most challenging parts of the month.
Don't give up yet!
A lot of this is the fact that we've gone well into the 15K territory and we're kind of trapped wondering why we're doing this. Things are already starting to pile up, like dishes. Your cats are giving you pleading looks of attention (Almost deleting half of your novel which you banish them to the livingroom). Your boss is starting to wonder where you went every day, because you're wearing a glazed over look and restocking items upside down. It starts feeling like crossing the Atlanic Ocean in a bathtub with a spoon for an oar. (FEel free to use metaphore somewhere.)
When I used to work for a callcenter I had a very wise training leader tell me this wisdom which would work for NaNoWriMo as well: "The first day, you're going to want to quit. Don't. Day two, you're going to want to quit. DOn't. Day three things start looking up. By day four you're sailing right through it!"
To help along with this and to boost morale we have Word Widgets. What's more satisfying after finishing five hundred words or more, than to see a progress bar go up, milimeter by milimeter? What's fun than having a widget that allows you to compete with a writing friend on the word count?
There's several different kind of word widgets, and they all can be found over here:

Have fun!

There are also region reports. And little widgets that show how we're beating Ann Arbor on the basis of words/person as well as overall wordcount.
Oh, and if you click on this one you'll find yourself on my Progress Report page, which is very cool -- I hadn't realized those were back yet. The widget is the one from danguyf, which fits my style a wee bit better than the hideous yellow on this year's official icons/widgets.

To see that we're beating michigan via wordcount... It brings a little tear to my eye. :)
Oh did you know your wordcount validator system's back under 'my profile" So if you want an 'official' word count you can use that. :D
