Hello everyone.
This is your late and horribly not-great (its a first draft lemme alone) ML for the Sioux City region.

As I have been 'doing Nano' for seven years with four years as an ML, I should know how to get an area alerted and motivated. I should also have a few other things that line up better so I'm not screaming at a dead motherboard on October 27th and leaving new people in the lurch for almost half the month of Nano!

Notice the word SHOULD. Then Life went "ha-ha". So no one but the handful who participated last year with me knew the kick-off party was Sunday the 28th. And only those who attended that party knew this year's weekly write-ins are on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm at Panera Bread on the northside of Sioux City.

Now my shiny new toy is behaving and I am ready to take the written lashings of all my fellow SC-Nano'rs. Super mea culpa!

I will be posting all over the place today to let people know what the plans are and to see if we need to change the TGIO party.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, or THREATS INVOLVING BLUE PENCILS, please email me directly rather than through the Nano mail system (which is just...not good). My email can be found on my profile or I've carefully coded it below:
alphabeter (at) gmail (dot) com

Thanks to everyone whos stuck in this far. I will be a lot better during NaNoEdMo. I might even have my house unpacked by then!

Be well
Alphabeter/Joy

Writing is like sex. You're putting all this effort into something beautiful, using every skill and technique you have to work to a perfect climax, but when the technicalities are involved you cringe.
