Come and celebrate your genius and perseverance!
Tell us your worries, woes and how you got through them to join us here!

Sunday December 2nd
4:00 p.m.
Woody's Diner
208 5th Ave
Royal Oak, MI 48067-3813
Phone: (248) 543-6911
We shall be upstairs!

Directions to Woody's - I-696 to M-1 Woodward Ave. From the exit, follow the signs to Woodward. Just north of the freeway service drive, turn right onto Washington Ave (small Amtrak sign, townhouses ahead on the right). Take Washington north about 1/2 mile. Fifth street is opposite a brand-new 15-story building. Parking is free on Sunday so should not be a problem. Woody's is in the short block before the railroad tracks.
Here is a link to a map of downtown Royal Oak: http://www.ci.royal-oak.mi.us/media/parking.html
Main St. also works as an approach. However, Fifth Street does not cross the railroad tracks. So, if taking Main St. north from I-696, as soon as you cross the railroad tracks, turn left and cross the tracks again, then go one block west and one block north.

Cheers
Tiffany

Hope you all have fun there, but I won't be able to join you. :( The choir that I'm in has a concert around that same time in Farmington. So please think happy thoughts about me while you drink to your novelling!

Rats! I won't be able to make it either because I will be away on business in California. I actually was able to postpone the trip until 12/1, right after nanowrimo was over! How fortuitous is that??

Bummer!
Glad the trip could be postponed, but now I'm wondering if there is a better time for all.

Cheers Tiffany

Anyway we can move it to another night?

Namaste,
Carole

I'd like to keep it close to the finishing of nano otherwise were even farther into the holiday season and the tgio party will get left behind.

What's the verdict, sheepgoddess?

Still hoping for Saturday 12/1, myself!

I've got combat practice Sunday normally, but I'd definitely skip it for the TGIO party (as I've done this thing three times already and haven't made it to ONE).

If the date changes to Saturday though, I won't be able to make it at all unless it starts later (but by later, I mean around 6:00 >.>).

Let us know what the verdict is.

Okay the TGIO party will still be on Sunday.
Mostly because I ended up being swamped on sat.
I have set it up for 4pm but we will probably be there for a while, join us if you can.

Cheers Tiffany

Oh good, you had me worried for a bit there. Cause if you had moved it to Saturday I wouldn't be able to come, one of my best friends' son is having his fourth birthday party Satuday at 4pm.

Hope the party was fun! Was sorry I had to miss it.

Congratulations everyone! And I do mean everyone. Just signing up to take on NaNo is a feat. And there's always next year to win. I finally did again after botched attempts the past two years.

Ciao!
