Hey guys. One quick correction about the email I just sent out: I typed 'elevators' when I meant to say 'escalators' and although the tables are technically across from the elevators in some sense, it's not the ideal direction. Sorry about that - NaNo makes me lax in my proofreading ;)

Anyway, see below for the usual transportation information, bearing in mind that some buses are rerouted downtown because of the sinkhole repairs - detours are listed on the LTC website notice here: http://www.londontransit.ca/PublicNotices.htm

As you can see from the Events, we've got 2 meetings scheduled for this week down at Central's 2nd floor tables:
Thursday, Nov 15 at 6:00pm
Saturday, Nov 17 at 1:00pm

In light of last weekend's lack of turnout, which I admit is very likely due to the short notice of our emailing, I'd love it if you could drop a reply here if you're planning to make it this Saturday. I know we've had some regulars at the Thursday meetings (awesome) but we don't have any numbers to go by when planning the weekend ones so, again, drop us a reply here if you want to let us know you're coming on Saturday. Thanks :)

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION: For those who take the bus, the Central Library is located within two blocks of Dundas and Richmond, and within one block of Dundas and Wellington, making it within two blocks of every bus that hits downtown. Those who drive, parking is available through the Clarence, Wellington, King, or York street entrances of the Galleria Mall. Bring your ticket to the 2nd floor circulation desk and have it validated for two hours' free parking!

I woke up not feeling too well this morning, and skipped out on work. While I'm feeling a bit better now (sleeping until 1pm usually helps a bit), I still doubt I'll make it tonight. Which is probably a good thing, considering my word count. XD

But anyway, don't expect me there tonight. I'll be at home, typing away at my novel. I'll be there in spirit! :)

And I can't make it Saturday, either - I work Saturday, 8:30-6:30, so it's a no go for me.

I'll be there next week, though! See you all then!

Best of wishes to the people at the library.

I uploaded another excerpt from my growing novel.

I planned to attend but looked at the weather and got talked out of the drive from Sarnia to London.

I do hope to make it up some point this month to say hi to people.

Till the, best wishes to all.

or, as my Granny used to say

Shoot for the Stars.

:D

Don't forget guys - this Thursday is our next NaNo meeting. If you've been to these before, you know the format and all that. If you're stopping by for the first time, take a quick look at the info in your emails or the forum posts about the meetings and come on down and join us :) Also: look for some Official NaNoWriMo swag to be coming your way this week, if the postal outlet will release our package by then. Cross your fingers and get ready for some stickers (and whatever else they send - I have no idea).

A note on Saturdays: Although a number of people said they can't make it during the week and wanted a Saturday meeting, it's been two weeks straight of no shows (except jenthesuperone last time - thanks jen). So, feel free to meet up this weekend if you'd like to, but it's going to be ML-lite because Lora and I both have other plans. As for Dec 1, which might be a good day for a TGIO ... we'll get back to you on that.

That's all from me, so.. see you guys on Thursday and keep up the good writing!

Hopefully Laura or someone who usually brings a computer sees this.

I feel really, really bad, 'cause I'm ML #2 and I planned on being here, but the meeting with my sister turned into personal crisis and anyway, not giving details because they're not mine, but -- yeah. I don't think I'm going to make it.

Carrie, I'll make it up to you. Everybody else, I'm sure you'll survive without me ;) -- keep writing, don't give up (she says), and we'll see you next week for the final push!
