According to the regional stats (http://www.nanowrimo.org/wordcount_stats), we're neck and neck with Flagstaff. I'm thinking I should visit their board and issue them a challenge. What do you think?

Sure, I'm game. Words are pouring out of me this week. I don't promise that it will continue at this rate, but I will at least try to keep up with the daily word count to stay on track.

Ooh, the battle gets close again! In an amazing display of "We must write lots of words before the Saturday KU Football game," Lawrence managed to put up more than 31,000 words in one day! Flagstaff posted a respectable 13k, but that means the difference in word counts is now a measly 875 in Flagstaff's favor!
What will Saturday bring (Besides a huge victory by the Jayhawks, making them 11-0)? Stay tuned for more Word War Drama!

It's because I haven't been writing. Sorry, took a couple days off. I'll make up for it this weekend. I don't watch football ;)

I have written over 7200 words in the last 3 days. I am almost giddy! But that could be the lack of sleep....
[edit] 12:07 AM: Can't wait to see what the verdict is!
