Hi everyone,

I was wondering how everyone was doing? It's getting mid month. But we can do it! If we just live our stories and let them come alive through us, we will easily make our 50,000 words by the end of November.

I am a little behind schedule, but now have my writing groove and have set a goal of a minimum of 3000 words a night. I know with Thanksgiving coming up, I will probably miss a couple of days of writing, but with the larger daily word count, it will be done.

Let's keep writing. We can do it!

Also, don't forget to log in and enter your word count. Once I figured it out, it was easy. Just log in, copy and paste your story in the word count box and their machines automatically give you the word count. Then click submit. You don't have to worry about your story being taken, because it disappears after the word count appears.

Have a great day! and WRITE ON!!

Hello nanowrimo friends! I was behind but I spent the morning writing in my own personal write-in in Lander (anybody else in Lander?) and got up to 25,000.... whooee... it is more fun than I ever knew it would be to just let 'er go, let the words come straight out of my mind to my fingers to the page... just like conversation with some teenage girls I know.... words gushing straight out of their brain out through their mouths with no editing or self-censorship! This exercise is so freeing, I am actually believing in myself and I know I will make it to the end. We can do it!

Good for you Wyoming Mom,

Congratulations on your word count. It is very liberating to be able to just let it flow and not worry about the details. My inner critic is pouting and had heart failure over what she considers to be imperfections. I consider it a blessing to be able to write and get the story idea out on paper, just like you said, knowing that once it's out, I can go back and fill in and polish it to make it the best novel I can. I can kiss and make up with my inner critic then and let her take over with the finer details. This is my first year participating in this challenge which will now be an annual writing extravaganza that I will look forward to eagerly. Who knows, maybe I will do this challenge with myself two or three times a year.

Have a great day! and WRITE ON!!

I'm pretty far behind, but tomorrow has been set aside for some heavy-duty catching up. Oddly enough, my last-minute panic mode hasn't kicked in yet. Any day now...
