I know this is insanely late but can I RSVP for the writer's league write-in? I had thought (arrogantly I suppose) that I would be be more than finished by then but I can see that is not the case

Oh, no! It's not late at all. I'd like to have a count to the WLT by mid-week if possible, but a few folks one way or the other is no problem! Come! Bring your (writing) friends! Come even if you've won but want to write more!

Hmm, seeing as that is a Friday night, I may be able to make it to one last event after all, but I would need to check, and I am debating with myself whether to or not since I don't have a laptop to update the old wordcount one last time, and I was not very productive at NaNoBruMo ;)

I will totally be there. I will even make arrangements to go in to work late that night so I don't miss out on the very-last-minute goodness. I'm sure I'll need it all. :)

Please RSVP soon! I need to let WLT know how many to expect - I'm hoping to do this tomorrow (Weds. 28th). It's fine to come if you have won, stalled, whatever - just as long as you plan on adding some words to your total. It will be fun to count down to the end of November, just as we counted down to the beginning - except really tired and out of costume. Unless you want to.... dress up?

Update on this event.
The front door (on Congress) will be locked. The back door will be open from about 8:30pm until 10 or 10:30. If you arrive after that, you will need to call the WLT office to be let in. That number is 499-8914.

Oh, I want to come so BAD! But it will defeat the purpose if I can't get my hands on a laptop for the event. :( I'll keep working on that, and do my best to come, though, and bring my guitar if I do.

I think I might also show up. I'm not too worried about refreshments so much as my making the 50k mark, but I figure it'd be fun to go to at least one write-in this year.

The building is a bit hard to find -
If you are coming north, it's just past Starrbucks; if you are coming south, turn in after the Freebirds. It's pretty dark in the front - there is a sign for Congress Square II.
Don't forget to come in the back door. And then all the way down the hall and left.

Well I didn't make it out to the write in, but I did finish just now. I'm pretty pleased since this is my first go at this whole thing.
