Hey all--sorry to be so vanishingly rare for the first half of the month, but the co-ML-ing thing came to me at the last moment, and I had a busy couple of weeks already planned. But! Now I'm back, and ready to get some major word count going.

Who's around the weekend after Thanksgiving? I am, and would love to get together with other NaNoers in the Mission/Noe area, Saturday and/or Sunday. There's been talk on another thread about the Church Street Cafe; that would work for me, and I'm still going to try to make Wednesday nights there. Anyway--let me know!

I'm definitely around and would love to write in company:-) I'm in the Inner Richmond and car-less, so I can be at a write-in as long as it won't take half the day via bus to get there;-)
I'm also planning on writing on Thanksgiving Day in my neck of the woods, so if anyone wishes to escape relatives or eight hours of drinking and eating, I'd love to have company then too.

Lisa:-))

Yay, you're back.

My schedule is remarkably empty all of next week, and I really need to catch up now that I have a plot twist and a creepy romantic twist as well. So unless I write 25k at the write-a-thon, I'll be looking for catchup (and maybe catsup) as the validation date approaches.

I should be around, and hopefully free to be. Mission/Noe works for me. Anywhere the bus line goes, I can go. There's a GREAT cafe for writing on Valencia around 21st called Mission Creek Cafe...one of my favorite spots. They recently remodeled so all the tables along the wall have outlets at tabletop level - how amazingly thoughtful! And if you're there at the right time, they bake the absolute best chocolate chunk cookies I've ever had and you can get 'em right out of the oven! Okay, forget what I said, maybe that isn't such a good place (:

Hi --- I'm in the mission and plan on attending as many write-ins as I can, for the duration. It's more fun to kill Cliff if you have seen him recently. In addition to Mission Creek, I recommend Maxfield's House of Caffeine.

So to get specific.. Saturday? Saturday 2-4 at Mission Creek?

Okeedoke. I can do Saturday 2-4 at Mission Creek. Also Sunday too for that matter, but let's start with Saturday anyway!

Cool! I should be able to make it. By the way, I almost forgot -- I'm killing myself this year! Is that too twisted, or what?

That is totally sick and fabulous and twisted! I was wondering. Cool!

Mission Creek Cafe is around the corner from my condo (I usually turn the other way to go to Ritual), so I will swing by...!

So it looks like Mission Creek for Saturday and Sunday, at least 2-4pm.

I'll try to make it to one of those. Getting used to driving again... le sigh.

I'll add those to the sfnanos front page and news article, and mention it in an email blast tomorrow.

Any others for the weekend?

Sunday is still Royal Ground at 2-4, right?

I'll be there for that. Prob. staying home to dictate on Sat. We'll see though.

If you've got a good group going on at Royal Ground, go ahead and keep that one too. But a few of us at least are going to Mission Creek both days (closer to here!). I think SF can handle more than one write-in at once, eh?

I just wanted to say it was great meeting you all at Mission Creek today. Now, I know what I've been missing, I'll go to more write-ins next year.

It's probably good to have the duplicate coverage, since not everyone would go all the way across town for one or the other (we got a good ribbing for this uniquely San Francisco trait at the south bay write-in today).

I'm planning to be up there for one of the events Sunday. Maybe both, depending on how late they run. I'm only 10k behind so I can stand a bit of a drive. :)

I ended up coming over to Mission Creek, since I was dropping by the office, so I'll wish the crowd at Royal Ground thousands of words and see you all another time. Watch for validation hints in email in a day or two.

There were 4 of us taking over the sofa area. I got 2200 words done there. Good times.
