This is for you lucky (and dedicated) writers who have reached the end goal of 50,000 words. Good for you! Tell us about your success so that we may *ahem* steal it for future NaNos!

http://naperwrimo.org/nanostats/BC-Elsewhere.html - the stats. ;)
Not everyone on this list has BC-Elsewhere listed as their home region so those that don't, I don't consider them to have beaten you. ;)

Victory is mine!
I was thinking about finishing it tomorrow but the prospect of finishing tonight carried me through (it also helped that the Canucks had a big first period lead that allowed me to focus on this). I am so very happy and doing a random NaNo victory dance. I will ignore the evil demons telling me that now I need to edit what I have written and will instead bask in the glow of this glorious accomplishment.

La-la-la
I made it!!!
Might have happened sooner if I didn't have to come to Calgary. (Oh no, what does that do to the alberta/Bc war if I write while I'm in Alberta? :) )
But I'm nowhere near done... we'll have to see where this thing ends up going 'cause I'm still feeling good.
Secrets to share? Stop reading the forum and write instead!!! ;P (that's a smilie sticking out it's tongue, by the way)
Happy, happy, happy though to get here. Congrads on reaching it too, cranberry and tjedic. We must just be wordy people!

This moment, right this very moment (okay, maybe ten minutes ago), is the earliest I have ever crossed the finish line, ever. Other than last year finishing about three days ahead of schedule, I have always finished on the very last day. Maybe I'm getting better at this?

Hey Tiger- great job.
As for doubling... well I know I've got an official goal of hitting 71,000 but would love to get as close to 100K as possible. Just depends on how the kids in the story behave, you know!!!
Keep pushing me and I'll push you!!

Way to go, Storm! And that sounds interesting. Alright, will write a bunch tonight (in between K-Ville and Heroes and all those other Monday shows I watch...), and see if I'm ahead of you before I sleep!

Chalk one up for Creston, BC!
I, too, have reached the finish line, but it is far from over. So much is happening and will happen and has happened, I'm considering a series. *Sigh* therein lies my problem, I can never finish what I start.

Clap, Clap, Clap!!!
Right on, River.
I too have more that I want to happen than would fit in one book. I think part of my 'problem' is I made a really cool map of the world we're in, and this adventure is only going to let them explore, oh, one small part of one nation. There are 4 more kingdoms to go on this island, and the bad guys island isn't even totally draw!!
I'm thinking trilogy would be pushing it. Maybe a series of 5?
LOL
But I'm going to concentrate on this one first!!!

I like the look of all of those amazing finishers. Remember to upload one last time to get that purple winners bar. I found it just as exciting as actually finishing the book for some strange reason.

Holy swiss cheese batman!
I actually did it - and have more to write, when I get a bit more time. I was beginning to look at the calendar and wonder whether or not I would be able to finish in time, but it looks like on Saturday i will not only be celebrating my 25th birthday, but I will also be celebrating having finished my 50,000 words as well!
woo hoo!
and by the by, congrats to all of you who have also finished - and to those of you who have gone above and beyond - wow! Amazing!
Love to you all :D

Huzzah and hurrah! Congratulations everyone!
There's more yet to write, but all's well at the Amber Griffin Cafe. Whether it will go anywhere but a website in some backwater corner of the Net, I don't know, but for now, I have some serious catching up to do. I described this project to my parents as the longest hand-knit scarf you ever saw, full of dropped stitches and uneven bits and mismatched yarn.
Yay scribblers! Hope we can keep the boards humming over the year with new ideas and tips, and the almighty question of "okay, now what do I do with it?"
Off now to pay bills, write belated birthday cards, get the cat neutered, think up Chrismahannukwanzayule gifts and rest my poor eyes.

Ok, here's someting weird. I woke up at two AM feeling something odd and definitely wrong. I have sat here for the past two hours and think I finally figured it out... Its been two days and I've only written another 1500 words. So I think I am now going to have to wien my self off slowly. There is now this huge void that has left me feeling more spooked than my thriller novel did. :-)
Congratulations to everyone on doing such a bang up job! We did it. I hope you treated yourself? If not... what are you waiting for...
