I was just wondering if anyone will be going to the Sunset Hills Write-in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving? I haven't been able to make it yet, but as long as my MRI goes well Tuesday, I'm going to try to make it - unless of course no one's going to be there!

Absolutely we will be there. Cthonicgoof and I are planning to make it right on time, and I'll be there until 8. She and I talked about whether or not we wanted to chance it with people maybe going out of town, but if nothing else, she and I need the time to write, so we'll definitely be there!

I started this topic and now I can't go - MRI came back with something questionable so it's recommended that I not drive until the doctor has a long talk with me. Oh, well - I haven't written much anyway. This year just wasn't my year to win NaNo again.

It was another successful night, we had seven people and many of us got things accomplished.
Except for cthonicgoof, whose ibook freaking DIED while we were sitting there. It made this screeching noise, the hard drive was grinding and crackling, and poof. Done. She only lost about 2500 words, but still. I've heard from her already tonight and she took it to the Mac store, and in triage they discovered the hard drive was totally toast. :( But, she bought herself a new computer, so all is good!!
We'll be meeting one final Wed in November, on the 28th. Hope to see you all there! I may have made my 50K by then.
