Wow! Thats a lot of words in three days. Feels good to break that 30k mark, though I feel my goal of 40k by the end of the weekend is really not going to happen...

Thanks. Having just written another thousand words in half an hour I am now feeling a lot more capable of hitting that target. Must have been your dance that did it:) Given that I have all day tomorrow and will hopefully be going to the write-in on Sunday I am now feeling all hopeful again.

*clambers over the fence*

Well, managed to hit the barrier, despite the past few days being a bit 'blocked'. Still, 30k will take us to the weekend. Ace, cos I'm planning on being in Southampton all weekend. I'm tired and talking too much.

I'm not there yet, spent more time deleting what I'd written yesterday than making much progress, but I aim to be in this gang by the end of tonight.

I hit 30k as of yesterday (rather than Friday which was my goal) and I'm definitly feeling like it's down hill from here. On the wordcount side that is, my plot can't go much further downhill without hitting subterranean!

So write my friends, write like the crazy nanoers that you are!!!

*The Horns* I have the faith in you all!!!! *does an encouragement dance that will either hopefully inspire you to 40k OR scare you so you hit 40k to get away from me!*

I'm afraid that despite your dance I am still sandwiched between 30 and 40k without inspiration and energy. Damn bad weather and illness!

I didn't write last night, so I have to do twice as much tonight. I'm starting to get a bit stuck. So far the story has been writing itself, but I think I'm starting to lose interest.

Oh wow, finally clawed back my 5000 deficit, and feeling all the better for it.

Apparently a slightly soppy sex scene and some very silly jokes about ruffling feathers was exactly what my tired fingers needed!

Hooray for ruffled feathers eh?

I've just developed a secondary female protagonist, so it looks like Average Joe might get a happier ending.
