Hi Wrimos,

It's a go! Here's the current information for the All State Write-In, and I'll have more information for you in the next day or so.

When: November 24th (Saturday)

Where: Round Table Pizza, 55th and Main, Springfield

Time: 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Come meet Wrimos from all over Oregon at this awesome and first time (and hopefully annual) event! We'll be having writing workshops, games, prizes, and more.

If you're interested in going, PLEASE RSVP to me so that we know how many to expect. Also if you are willing to drive a carpool down, please let me know as well.

We will, once again for those carpooling, be departing from Borders Bookstore at probably 11:45 or so on Saturday. Please arrive about 11:30 so that if you need a ride (or are driving) we can get situated. Savanna and I may need to leave a tad earlier since we're in charge of games, and need to do some set-up.

This is very very exciting, and I hope that we can get a good group down to Eugene and represent Salem at this All State event. :)

I hope to see you all there!

Jamie, you're in luck, because it just so happens that my family is going to be at a cocktail party on that saturday (21 and over) so I will definetly be able to go!

The only thing is, I know Portland better than I do Eugene so if you want me to drive....yeah, umm...we might get lost again. And maybe one more time on the way back :) Just like on the Portland trip.

Anyway, this is so exciting! I'm finally going to be able to put my awesome t-shirt to good use! Hopefully there will be more than 5 people going because that would be just sad.

Anyway, it's a definite YES for me! And a yes if you want me to drive.

Man, I've got bloody WORK that day.

Stupid...day after the day after Thanksgiving. I've got an 8 hour shift, 11am-8pm I believe.

Very sad times.

I told everyone here I will be gone all day so I could go guilt free! I can't wait. They better give us more information soon, like if we're paying our own ways and what not. I will need a ride to Borders, as well.

about where do you live hoshi in salem?

I would be more then happy to pick you up if you are okay with me knowing where you live. dont worry, I am not a arsonist/kidnapper/human organ trafficer.

I think jamie said that drinks are unlimited but i too am crurious about if we are going to be asked to say chip in 5 or 10 dollors to pay for pizza's, or if when it comes to food, we are on our own. I am planning to ask for 10-15 dollors for my perants since I am jobless and they are happy that I am doing nano and being social.

This Border's Bookstore is the one on Lancaster in Salem, correct? Could someone please e-mail me with the address so I can estimate how long it will take for me to get there. If I can go, I will be needing a ride there and back, and hopefully my friend will be joining me so I don't feel lonesome. :D I'm not RSVP'ing, I'm just trying to get enough information about the trip so my mother unit won't freak out. :)

WOO! My momma says I can go! I'll make my own T-shirt and everything (because I just quit my job and I can't withdraw money out of my back account anymore) and I WILL BE THERE! I live in Silverton, about 20 minutes from Salem, and my friend and I will need a ride in le carpool. (I can't believe my mother is trusting these crazy people...) COUNT US IN!

Oh yes, I have a question. Or two. Or three. Anyway, we're all going to be going to a Round Table Pizza? Will it be big enough there for everyone in Oregon to fit?

magequeen, I live in south salem too so I would be more then happy to pick you up if you still need a ride.

to anwser your question saphrioko, suposidly we have been told we could take over the entire resturant. it likely is that most people wont stay from 1 pm to 11 pm for the entire time, alot of people will probably come for a few hours or so at a time then go home.

jamie, question, are we planning to go for the full time or are we planning to see who wants to stay for how long so we can plan carpools incase their are people who may only want to be there for a few hours. I am likely game for the full time but I am curious how many people will be stay the entire time.
