I'm working on getting my images uploaded to the semi-official location that is set up (LazyM has uploaded many photos there):

http://www.grabbag-pics.com/

But I'm having some problems getting them all to go through. Until then I have put my images from the Midnight Write, the two Austin Java write ins, and the NaNo with kids on my own site in a flash gallery:

yes. (see page two on the grabbag site.) I think I have all my pics up there except the lockdown. I still need to sort through them. and some of the ones up there aren't that great (red eye anyone?) and no captions yet - but still - pictures!

helena, I think they don't go through if you try to do too many at one time. That's what happened to me, I think.

Yes, it definitely wouldn't take more than two at a time, but now even two at a time isn't working. I'm out of time to work on that today, so anyone who wants to see all of mine--go to the flash gallery on my site!

Lockdown pictures are on the grab-bag site now. They are on page three of the NaNo album. Still red-eyed, but this time it's not always the fault of the flash. (Next chore will be to figure out how to fix the redeye on all of these!)

Yeahhh, pictures!! :D But oh no, now there's documented evidence that I re-picked up my bad habit of nail-biting. Of course it's all NaNoWriMo's fault. ;)

The NaNo in Nature was tons of fun. I hope we do it again. Yayyyy!! :D

The group shot from the nature write-in should be shared with the website - it is so representative of how Austin is always different from the rest of the world!

Okey dokey. Now I've uploaded some pix from BruNoWriMo - mostly of the chilly walk we took to get our brains kick-started.

I also joined the NaNoWriMo group on Flickr, was poised to upload some pix there, and suddenly thought "what if someone doesn't want their photo on Flickr for all the world to see?"

I know of two Wrimos who definitely don't want their photos taken, much less shared - so any pix I inadvertently took of them no longer exist. For everyone else, the photos I would upload to Flickr would be a subset of the ones at grabbag - just the ones I took. If anyone has issues with any of the pictures there, please let me know the name of the photo and I'll make sure not to share it elsewhere. Thanks!

There! I've got all my pics, including the TGIO, up on the grabbag site. Look how much fun we were having!

Special thanks to ShadowsEdge for giving us a place to put up our pix!

Mine still need red-eye fixing, and I'd like to move them somewhere that loads faster and that provides a slideshow. helenathemuse has more, but had trouble uploading them to grabbag, so - one of these days, we'll have them all gussied up and ready to go... in time for next year.

Oh - and I sent the link to the about.com article to HQ for inclusion on the media page - which is a sublink on the About page. Amazing photos of an amazing event - thanks helenathemuse for everything!
