This link should work to show us how we measure up to other groups out there.

http://www.nanowrimo.org/wordcount_api/wcregion/118

It's not pretty but so far, we've written well over 1.5 million words. That's a LOT of words!! Keep it up!

I finally hit 25k tonight. I think I should be nearly 30k though to be "caught up." (1666x18) Is that right?

Yup, according to my NaNo Report Card excel file, 30K is today's goal to be on target to complete 50K by the 30th. Good going, Van!!

Yeah, I am totally behind and fine with it. How sad is that? I am at like 27k (haven't updated my bar thing because...). I am so sick right now thinking is hard. And when I left my story I was writing about a really gross cooking scene (my MC doesn't know how to cook really and cooked for my MMC. And it was just... gross to begin with), I can't finish the scene because I am tempted to puke everytime I think of something new....

Hey Kimby, 27K is NOT that far behind... that's where I was this morning. Hopefully you'll feel better soon and be back typing madly away...

Not broke, just not pretty:

United States :: California :: Inland Empire = our region
1755047 = combined regional word count
63423 = highest word count
15811 = average word count

That 1,755,047 is our combined word count, ladies and gentlemen! We rock!

And no, not word wars. No one was brave enough, I guess!

It could be worse...

I started writing again! And then then Demon Dog, I mean Pearl, jumped on the couch and broke 2 keys off my alpha smart. The two keys were the up arrow and the .> key. So I am using - and then find/replacing all the - with .s It just doesn't feel right and satisfying to put the - there.

But Kimby, you're writing a novel... what on earth do you need a > key for?

I need a period. Wait that sounds bad. I don't want "that type" of period... but I want an end point at my sentence.

It would kinda 'go' with your 'boob' novel... (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

Hit 46,247 today! I've not been posting on the forums because I've been writing and as a first year newbie wanted to make sure I was going to finish in plenty of time.

I am totally up for a TGIO party!

Yay, Bogey! And you're right, writing and keeping your own word count up is way more important than posting.

Our regional word count is looking good today: 2,204,237 !!

Keep writing, peeps!

Inland Empire's regional word count (just before the end of NaNo): 2,907,377

Some overachiever has written: 95,140

And our regional average (thus far) is: 25,503 words
