I just hit 50,088 words today myself and yes, I still have a lot of my story left to go also. but it feels good to cross the finish line, well, at least the NaNoWriMo word count. I guess that makes me a winner also and congratulation to you by the way.

back atcha!! i'm gonna try and finish this thing in november and start editing it right away rather than waiting for NaNoEdmo in March. i have to take a few days off for thnksgiving and the weekend afte it, so i'll try to get the first draft complete by wednesday.

where i will go with it once it's edited i have no clue whatsoever. probably run it by some beta readers for critiques. and consider what big damn project i want to tackle after that.

amazing, i never thought i could do anything like this... NaNoWriMo is a really good way of getting off the dime and tackling something new.

Wooo hoo! Congrats! It's an awesome feeling isn't it? I'll see you across the line in a few days... :-)

My suggestion re editing: Let it breathe a little while, like a few weeks. Then you can see it much more clearly. And listen to your beta readers (if you get good ones). But, no need to wait till March to edit, not at all.

Congratulations! It wouldn't be as fun if we knew what we were doing.

I figure there are bound to be a few great story lines and characters in the midst of all those run on sentences.
