A big thank you to anyone who volunteered or worked or planned or whatever'd the Write-a-Thon. It was a total blast and I can't wait for next year. Talked to a lot of wonderful, interesting people, had great food, and wrote at least some words:-)
Again, anyone who helped put that together, you are wonderful.

Lisa:-))

On behalf of the whole staff, we thank YOU for coming, and being the greatest group of write-a-thonners anyone could hope to have. Wow! What a great night.

Thanks as well for helping us improve and expand NaNo and the Young Writers Program though your fundraising on our behalf. Being in that packed room with everyone writing (and eating) up a storm, was really one of the highlights of my NaNoWriMo life.

Chris

My teeth are still fuzzy from the sugar. I had a great time. It is always quite inspiring to be in a big group of writers.

I loved the write-a-thon. How amazing to be sitting there with 200? people you've never met before of all different ages and everyone is bashing out an imaginary world with the help of candy, carbs and encouragement. I can't say I've ever experienced anything like it! I'm thrilled that a good chunk of the donation money goes to good causes.

Thanks!

Yes, yes thank you! Had fun with the photos upstairs, the eating, the caffeinating, the inspiring talk, cheering on the prize winners, the chatting and oh yeah, some writing too. Thanks to everyone who made it such a fantastic, fun event!
