Hey everyone -- I'm on Columbus's West Side, out by Galloway (though technically within Columbus borders). Are there any West side groups or RL meetings going on? I feel locked to my Mac; I need to get out & interact with live writers!

erm, though I'll admit to having cheated on this -- I found out about NaNoWriMo kind of late (2nd week November), when John Kovalic started up a thread of his Dork Tower cartoons on it. It was a god-send. I've been in the process of re-writing (aka "extensively overhauling to the point they're all-new") some old tales of mine for the past few years, and have been using NaNo as my last ditch impetus to GET THE SILLY THINGS DONE ALREADY. However, since starting, I've gotten a lot further along than I was and managed to get past the "stuck" point I've been in for the past few months; everything I've written since starting NaNo has been new to the tales in question.

Hey Chris-
There's two of us meeting at the Frisch's BB at 270 and Grove City exit (Broadway) Saturday at 9AM.
would love to have you there! Unlock yourself for breakfast...I'm so far behind and am taking advantage of the weekend to catch up. By Saturday, I'll need a break and pep talk!

Hey Carney --

Thanks for the invite! I think I know where you mean, since there's only one Grove City exit that I know of off of 270. I'm not that familiar with the GC area, though -- is the BB fairly close to 270?

9 AM omg, you're talking to a 2nd shift person here -- eleven is usually godsawful early! :-) But I need to unlock & meet folks more than I need to laze around in bed. Is this a "writing" breakfast, or meet-greet-pep talk-comiserate?

Heh. You two aren't really serial killers in disguise, are you?

I'm 3rd shift-totally abusing myself, girl! LOL! But, considering I don't sleep anyway...

It's a meet-greet-pep talk kinda thing...I write enough at home! I need a minute to disengage myself from Word.

Serial Killers? Me, no. I can't keep my tupperware cabinet organized let alone trying to maintain an MO and a list of potential victims! hehehe...

Hope to see you there!

Tupperware cabinet? Lord, woman, you're more organized than I am. Mine's the "Now where did we PUT the damn thing??" cabinet.

You're third -- which means you won't have had ANY sleep. This'll be fun. ;-)

Hi! I am the third in the group of you two. And I will be at Frishes pretty close to 7 waiting. (I like writing early in the morning and away from house work) So I will be there where you two arrive.
I am not a serial killer either, (although I have mangled a few cereal boxes :0)
See ya Saturday morn!!

LOL -- an early bird with 2 late-shifters. It's either gonna be loopy fun or some serious blood shed.

Of course, the way my life tends to go, those two could be one & the same. :-)

Well, between the three of us, we have every shift covered. This is going to be interesting!
