Hey everyone,

It's time to start planning the Thank God It's Over Party, the traditional end-of-NaNo get together. Usually we eat and discuss the joys and stresses of the month, and everyone shares a short excerpt from their novel.

This year, we finish on a Friday, so I suggest we meet on Saturday, December 1st.
Does anyone have a preference as to where?
Last year we met at a Chinese restaurant near Seouldae and had a private room, and that is certainly an option. I know a samgyeopsal restaurant in the same neighborhood that has private rooms, and there are places like that all over the city.
Or, if we want to meet in Itaewon, a friend of mine runs an Aussie restaurant that I know we could use.

Please tell me your ideas so we can plan this!

Is it The Aussie Shop Korea (the one where the owner is the ex-Choirboys drummer)?

i would defiantly love to come. It all depends on if i get the chance to get off post and what not. But i fear that i will not be able fide wherever it is that we choose to meet up. Is it possible that i can meet someone at the train station?

If it was in Itaewon and had non-meat options (something as simple as a salad or fries), then I'd probably join in. ^_^

Syd n Mels is fine with me (as it's only a ten minute stumble home!)

I talked to the owner last night. We are reserved at Syd'n Mel's at 7pm next Saturday. We'll be on the right side of the joint.

It's behind the Hamilton Hotel, on the alley with Pattaya, Moghul, Usmania, BricX, etc.

Here's the map:
