We hope to have a lot of people come to the event, but I must stress that you need to RSVP to boston_ma -AT- nanowrimo.org if you're coming, so we know how many people to expect. This venue has limited seating and we don't want to have to turn anybody away. Replying in a forum is not an acceptable RSVP.
ack I wasnt rsvping I was saying I WANT to go but probably wont be able to do toreasons beyond my control
Hi Aoisuke,
I wasn't directing the reply to you personally; you were fairly clear in your intent in your original post. I wanted to post instructions for RSVPing to the event so that other people wouldn't mistakenly believe that replying in this forum constituted an RSVP (an easy mistake to make, especially if you don't receive the regional e-mails -- some people do opt out.) I'm sorry if that was confusing.
As it appears you're not in school that Sunday after all, I hope you can make it to the event. I'll keep an eye on the e-mail for your RSVP. :-)
Hey all -- I know I am super looking forward to the TGIO party on Sunday (which I've RSVPed to, and you should too, because that is what awesome novelists do!). I just wanted to throw out there that, having finally gotten an assigned parking space in my building lot for my car, I can offer rides to people coming from the same general neighborhood as I am (Central Square, Cambridge). So if a couple of people wanted to carpool, I am planning on driving anyways due to a tight schedule on Sunday not leaving a lot of room for MBTA woes. ;)
