Okay, It might not be as much fun as The Mile High Club, but for a true Nanoer, it is probably as exciting.
I hereby annoint myself a proud member for the seventh time in as many years.
Feel free to annoint yourself here and become a member in good standing of "The 40K Club."

Greetings, The write in at LUlu's was fab. Chris was hostingly gracious and did sign my copy of his book. Photos were taken and will they be posted?
Afterwards, I went to the Novel Cafe write in 12-2 almost on my way home, but found no one. Was anyone there?

Congrats.
Did you get to go to LuLu's?
I didn't get to meet you if you were there.

I went to Lulu's and met Chris, who was great. He inspired me to make that final push to reach 50K. I feel a huge sense of relief, but I'm a little sad too (post-novel depression). I will keep at it, revising for the next few days. Thanks to all for your enjoyable posts ...

I made my goal yesterday and got back on target last night before bed. It feels goooood. :)
Yes, yesterday was a load of fun to meet a lot of people. We'll still be out on this Thursday night in Encino, so hop on by if you have time! :)

After stalling out completely over Thanksgiving (without much of an excuse even), I did a massive push today (7754 words!) and am now a proud member of 40k... for the sixth time in seven years!
(Dammit, Veganfred--who knew that first failed year would someday come back to haunt me so? Alas!)
...O.K., I'm obviously still in babble-NaNo mode. Step away from the keyboard, dear, and no one gets hurt...
