Hurray! I thought I would never get there.

I was 3000 words down this morning and I slept most of the day because of a terrible headache. The last 1000 was particularly hard - I kept checking and it seemed to be going up by only about ten words even though it felt as though I had written far more.

I've just made 40,000! I've been behind for a little while, and so this weekend was going to be make or break as to whether or not I'm likely to get to 50k by the 30th. But I've had a really productive day today - I've done 5k, and I'm not done yet!

I'm really enjoying the novel that I'm producing. I've been looking forward to end part for a while now, and so hopefully the last 10k should come relatively easy. My novel's now getting to be more exciting than the prospect of a rematch with Croatia!

Just hit that all important mark....I guess I could easily describe my main character's bathroom tiles in 10,000 words! :)
Otherwise, I feel like out is the only way up.

Good news!! I reached 40K a few days ago!

Bad news!! I've only just worked out my my novel is about - its just entering act 2 (of 3!!)

Well done to everyone who's made 40,000 - I'm trying to be charitable about those who have finished already, but I'm afraid I just want to throw sticks at you!!! (Sorry!)

Just made 40K, which means I've written over 30,000 words since the mid-month meet.

Cheers, after a poor start my day off today has turned into a 7400 word blinder, which not only means I am back on track but I can go to the pub tomorrow.

wahey. 40k at last!

I was starting to think that 13k in 5 days was going to be impossible. Now I'm wondering whether I might do it without completely killing myself. It's only nine o'clock and I've done nearly 3k since I got home from work. Hurrah for my hard earned touchtyping skills. And hurrah that no-one in nanowrimo checks your spelling!

Albeit a few days later than planned, I've just crawled past 40k, hurrah!

However, I only got to the pirates a few pages ago, and it's looking like there won't actually be any zombies this side of 50k. D'oh.

Bloody heck - a 9456 word day. Stuck in the backwoods of Wisconsin. I have to walk through the woods and over a river to get to the nearest pub. I will wear my boots as we just got a cold snap of ONLY -10. Will be snowing by morning. Cor- I miss London. I have my purple bar - not that anyone would recognize it if they were stabbed in the snout by it. I'm in the land of deerhunters and people who you must say hello to even if you dont know them.
