Nearly 325,000 words in and a new character is introduced. Not so bad, I've got 25,000 words to go to goal, that's lots of ice-time, right? Except... I think this is the most fun character to write for any story I've written... EVER!

I think I have the heroine of a new line of short stories for this coming year...

I'm having this problem as well. Almost every time i introduce a bit character for scenery, they start petitioning to be included in the main cast. So far I've only accepted one such petition, but... that doesn't shut them up inside my head.
