I can't decide whether to catch up on lost sleep of get excruciatingly drunk.
Man I have a headache…
I reckon we should be doing well in the Word War today too.
Now, someone point me in the direction of the nearest bar! :D

So we now have, what 50% winners in the Word War? Maybe we should try to hustle the other three. :) It's not as if we have to actually write any more now (but we can still add to the average wordcount).

Big congrats to you! :)

And you too.
*pats on the back all round*

I'm going to try and add a few more words to my wordcount if I can. It's still all to play for in the word war - Wales are very keen at the moment aren't they?! And we can't have that!

Yeah, how the heck are Wales managing it? It just doesn't seem right.
It's nice to see our average wordcount topping 40,000 though. It looked very unlikely there for a while.
Speaking of Wales, I believe there's only them, us and Lancs & Cumbria with all our participants still in, so we have a shot at the 'Highest percentage of winners from starting participants' category!

Bel, still trying to get a babysitter. It's not very easy to do with three eighteen-months-olds and a Kayleigh, because all my friends have kids of their own. May have to get a professional babysitter. :P

bah, I have just been internet-less for the weekend! Easily caught up I'm sure.

I am scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel. I have just had to translate "What is a parrot doing in the mail? Does it have a stamp on its beak?" into portuguese, so that my drunken brazillian thieves have some dialogue. Think I should get a Noscar for Most Intense Randomness.

It nice to know that everyone has walked to the boundaries of insanity on this journey. I'm just on my way back. I'm sure we'll pass at some point. I'll remember to wave.

Argh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!

Have been away with no computer access (or time) over the weekend so unable to write any novel.
Also had to see person to finish my Queens Guide Award last week (like Gold DofE - book now with co-ord for signing so have finished, yay!). Had to finish by midnight this wednesday, so to me this is way more important than nano - I'm not throwing the last 2 1/2 years worth of work away.
I'm on brekkie shifts this week too so getting up at 3am & sleeping during the day, so body clock and novelling time is a bit screwed.
And it's my birthday this week......................
ARGH!!!!!

I shall do my best to finish, but I apologise now for being majorly behind when it comes to word wars!

Hey, no need to speed me up! I've written 15k in the last three days, and aim to keep up with that pace!

C'mon Hils, you can do it!

Yeah, come on Doc Hilda, you can do it! Just write randomly as and when you can, and imagine it's not for NaNo. Tell yourself it's just for you! :) Remember - randomness is good!

So to you and everyone else, good luck and I'll be there with cyber-champagne for you (or cyber-beer/wine/orange juice etc, depending on your preference) at the finish line.

As long as I don't have to eat that thai curry, I'll be happy to just say this:

Congrats!
