Why does my novel not want to do what I say?
Why is a bathroom currently trying to kill my MC?
How do I stop a violent death scene that has turned into a confession back into a death scene?
Help me! Please!

Just go with the flow.... does it have to be a death scene? Personally I hate it when my characters start arguing with me. But it does give me the pleasure of reminding them that they are my puppets and I can make them dance to whatever tune I choose.

well, I've just written 5000 words in just over four hours, its 1.30am, I've already done a full day at uni, had 7 coffees and I am truly undead, and I have to go suffer seminars of geographical theories of globalisation tomorrow. In a fit of madness, I have sent my unfinished novel to my university supervisor to demonstrate why I have barely done any real research this month.
Worse still, the last chapter not only involved translating "Does that parrot have a stamp on its beak?" into portuguese, it also contained the line "He looked curiously at Louisa's box, which still lay open on the desk." which I am so tired that I didn't notice the innuendo in at first. Oh, and most of that chapter is about a man who doesn't speak to anyone at all, but loves staring at addresses on envelopes and writes (and posts) letters to people he imagines are there.
I have no idea where that idea came from.
I think I need help.
