Here's a thread/topic to discuss final week write-ins. Need an extra boost? Coordinate something here, or see what others have coordinated.

The "official" PeNaNos write-ins are:

* Wednesday night, November 28, from 7-10pm at the Books Inc in Mountain View (upstairs, in the cafe)

* Thursday night, November 29, from 7-10pm at the Peets in San Mateo.

Each is about 4 blocks from a Caltrain stop, and may be served by other transit. Parking is probably easier at MV than SM, but some patience can get you a reasonable spot.

Internet access is quirky at Peets so you may not want to count on validating your winning novel from there. Books Inc Cafe is about 30 feet from a Google WiFi access point so the odds are better there. I will see if I can figure out an alternative way to let people validate.

If you'd like to offer another location/time/date, feel free to post here.

I just wanted to let all you guys know that I won't be at the Peet's write-in tonight. I just crossed the finish line so I am going to take tonight to celebrate my birthday (which is today as well) and relax from this great writing journey! I wish you all the best and I want to thank you all for your support over this crazy month. And special thanks to Rob and Linda, our co-MLs. Thank you for making the Peninsula a great Nano environment. I already can't wait for next year. I hope to hear woots of joy when all you other ducks cross the line!

Congrats on crossing over! I think Linda and I will both be crossing over at Peets tonight. I'm so close I can almost taste the PDF file. Ok, it's more hypothetically yummy.

So I was working up to word 49999... ready to head for the train and cross over at Peets... and then noticed that I'm missing both of the 7pm-arrival trains leaving San Francisco.

So I will be getting to Peets around 8pm, and for the sake of not tempting fate, I will go ahead and cross over before I leave the office. But I will be there to celebrate in spirit, in person. And to cheer Linda on. And anyone else who shows up.

I will be there at Peet's but not about to cross over. I'm thinking, about 6000 words today and 5000 tomorrow will do it. I got 7000 words on Sunday when writing with Linda, so I think that helped!

I'm taking the day off - for writing and then apt searching with my fiance' depending on if I'm done or not.

Looking forward to celebrating with rob and linda and all y'all when you finish!

Well, I'm here, at Peets, by myself. *snif* Rob will be here in an hour or so, but where are the rest of you? Even our coffeemaker wanted to know where we all were. Well, must get busy - 1991 words to go.
