Hello to everyone

It was suggested on one of the other forums (Unofficial / Underground Weekday Write-Ins) that we have a write-in this Tuesday.

I would like to propose:

Gloria Jeans, Glenelg, Tuesday 27 November

Chooky and I will be there from 6:30pm (although everyone who has attended a write-in with us will know our uncanny ability for running late). Feel free to arrive whenever you want and stay for as long as you want - if someone's going to be there earlier though, please post.

We will also bring a power board.

Hope to see everyone there for a last-minute writing sprint!

Yay!

My editing did so well friday night at the write-in I definitely have to come to this one!

I shall be there with bells on! Although maybe not the bells as it might distract the other writers...;)

If anyone wants to be there earlier (from about 5 onwards) I shall be there about then...:)

I may be able to come along for an hour or so but have a class at 8:30pm. If I come, I will be there at about 6pm-ish.

Re: Powerboard, you will need a minimum 3m cord length, but can run it behind the shelving display.

Well, I didn't make it all. Had so much other stuff to do, like get washing done otherwise I wouldn't have had any clothes for work. I definately won't make the 50K mark by friday, but it's been fun. I'm sure I will try again next year. Also aiming to actually finish the novel by years end.

Aww, that's a shame. It was a good evening though. A great night to be down at Glenelg and some good work was done, although I had to interrupt mine to return a car I had stolen... *grins*

Definitely give it a go next year, it's always a hoot...:)

What? Stealing cars or making a Write In ;)

Probably will be hard as I'm relocating to the Riverland next year.

*grins*

Probably both!

Well, if you are going to the riverland next year, you shall have to come and heckle us and do a bit of friendly wordcount dueling...;)

You know, when I think of my time at uni, and how sometimes students used to struggle to produce an essay of 2500 words in a month, any way you look at it, over 25000 words in a month is a pretty mighty effort!

Well done, I say...:)

Oh believe me, I'm very happy to get that far in a month. And joining up this year helped me break my writers block for the last 8 years.
